🎯 Goal
Share a single Interest Schedule with your joint agent(s) on a society-published disposal, so both firms report unified demand to the landlord from the first circulation onwards.
❓ Why
Society-published disposals on joint instructions can get messy fast: two firms, two separate match request inflows, overlapping contacts and schedules, and a landlord who gets conflicting updates. A single Joint Agent Interest Schedule gives both firms one live view of demand, eliminates duplication, and ensures the landlord sees a single coherent story, while each firm retains privacy on its own inbounds and outbounds.
🔍 Overview
This is the society-specific extension of the core joint-agent workflow. Set up the joint agent on the disposal, share the Interest Schedule between firms, and either merge existing schedules or collaborate on a new one. The key society-specific consideration: decide before circulation whether one firm or both publishes to society, to avoid duplicate mailers.
📊 Step-by-step
1. Add the joint agent on the disposal
Add the joint agent firm on the disposal's Management tab.
2. Share the Interest Schedule
Open the disposal's Interest Schedule tab.
Click Share in the top right.
Under Share with Joint Agent, type the joint agent firm's name.
Click Send Invite.
3. Work together
Confirmed matches, viewings and comments are shared. Inbounds and Outbounds stay private to each firm, so your match requests from society members land in your private inbound column, not in your joint agent's.
✅ You've done it when…
Both firms see the same live Interest Schedule on the disposal, the society-publishing arrangement is clear, and the landlord is receiving a unified report rather than parallel updates.
💡 Common mistakes & pro tips
Inbounds stay private for a reason. Each firm sees its own society match requests. Use agent-to-agent messaging to share anything you think the joint agent should know about.
