Agent Dashboard overview

Written by Max Kemplen

🎯 Goal

Get oriented on your Kato dashboard, the landing page you see when you log in, so you know where each section lives, what the key widgets are showing, and how to get to any part of the platform quickly.

❓ Why

Your dashboard is your starting point every day. Knowing what it's telling you at a glance, and where to click next, means less time navigating and more time on deals.

πŸ” Overview

The Kato dashboard pulls together the activity that matters to you toda, your active disposals and requirements, new enquiries, upcoming viewings, and key notifications. Navigate anywhere else in the platform from the left-hand nav.

πŸ“Š Key areas of the dashboard

1. Left-hand navigation

Your primary navigation to everything in Kato:

  • Disposals β€” your live availability

  • Requirements β€” your active acquisitions and enquiries

  • CRM β€” companies and contacts

  • Leases / Sales β€” completed transactions

  • Campaigns β€” marketing activity

  • Society β€” marketplace, members, and society-wide features

  • Insights (if BOLT ON enabled) β€” analytics and reporting

2. Activity and lead feed

Live stream of updates across your portfolio, new enquiries, inbound match requests, viewing confirmations, status changes on matches, landlord activity on shared schedules.

3. Insights widgets

Quick-glance metrics β€” lead source tracking, enquiry counts, pipeline health.

4. Upcoming viewings and tasks

What you've got coming up today and this week.

5. Lease event reminders

Breaks, expiries, and other key dates across your transactions, giving you advance notice for BD outreach or client conversations.

βœ… You've done it when…

You can orient yourself confidently, know what's happening today, what needs a response, and where to click next.

πŸ’‘ Common mistakes & pro tips

  • Bookmark os.agency.kato.app for fast access each morning.

  • Check the activity feed first thing. Anything needing response will be at the top.

  • Let the left-nav be muscle memory. The faster you move between Disposals β†’ Requirements β†’ CRM, the less time friction kills.

  • Use Insights widgets as prompts, not as reports. If your enquiry count is down, dig into why β€” don't just note the number.
