🎯 Goal
Save your preferred filter combination against the Leases section as a named view, so a saved cohort you'll return to (monthly pitch list, Q3 London office lettings, your own deals) is one click away.
❓ Why
Kato uses helpful default views (Ready to publish / Upcoming breaks / etc.). Saved custom views add your own regular cuts on top, so the list you need every Monday morning is waiting when you open the tab.
🔍 Overview
Apply filters, save with a name, return via the view picker. Optionally share with the team.
📊 Step-by-step
Open Leases.
Apply all filters you want in the view (date range, location, size, transaction type, etc.) and pick your display preference (table or board).
Click Save View.
Give it a clear, descriptive name ("Q3 2025 London Office Lettings" beats "View 7").
Choose whether to keep it private or share it with your team.
Save.
Pin views for quick access
From the all-views page, pin the views you use most. The first pinned view is your default when you open the Leases section.
✅ You've done it when…
Your view appears in the view picker, loads all saved filters instantly, and is pinned (if you choose) for daily access.
💡 Common mistakes & pro tips
Name views for recognisability. "Q3 London Office Lettings" beats "View 3". Future-you will thank you.
Good candidate views: Agency-wide leases this quarter, Leases over £100k rent, Leases expiring in 6 months, My team's industrial deals.
Declutter regularly. A crowded view list is harder to use than no views. Delete what you don't open anymore.
Share team views rather than reinventing them. If someone's already built "Industrial lettings — South East", reuse it.
