Society Requirements are real-time demand signals from tenant reps across your market. Tracking what's being sought means you can match your portfolio against active briefs faster, win match requests against your disposals, and spot patterns in where and what your submarket wants.
🔍 Overview
From the Society Dashboard, jump into Society Requirements to browse circulated acquisitions, filter by sector, size, or location, and respond with matching disposals from your own portfolio.
📊 Step-by-step
1. Open your Society Dashboard
Click your society from the top drop-down nav.
2. Browse Society Requirements
Click Society Requirements (sometimes shown as Acquisitions). The list shows recently circulated briefs, newest first.
3. Search and filter
Search bar — applicant company, agent, or requirement title
Filters — size range, location, tenure, use class, date circulated, company sector
Map view — visualise where demand is landing geographically
4. Open and respond
Click into a requirement to see the full brief. From here, click Match my disposals to see which of your published disposals match, select the ones to send, and forward as a match request to the tenant rep.

You've identified the circulated requirements relevant to your portfolio and actioned the ones where you have credible disposals to put forward.
💡 Common mistakes & pro tips
Filter by sector. Company sector (tech, legal, retail, financial) is often a faster filter than size for narrowing quality matches.
Adjust notifications. Kato can email you when requirements matching your disposal size/location criteria are circulated — quicker than browsing.
Only your published disposals can be sent. Unpublished or confidential disposals won't appear in the match-my-disposals list.
