How can I pay my Society invoice?

Just click the payment link on your invoice to pay securely via Stripe, you must pay by debit or credit card. Once you’ve made the payment this notifies us automatically and prevents your account from being suspended.

To pay your society fees:

  1. Open the invoice attached to your email.

  2. Locate the 'pay online' link embedded in the invoice.

  3. Click the link to access a secure payment page.

  4. Follow the instructions on the page to complete your payment.

This method ensures a secure and prompt payment process.

How to access, view or get a copy of outstanding Society Invoices?

If you’re your company’s Organisation Admin, you’ll see an extra area in Kato to manage society users and society invoices. Just click the three dots next to your name (bottom left) → Organisation SettingsBilling. From there, you can view, pay, or download copies of your invoices.

In addition, all issued invoices are accessible directly from your account. You can log in to your account to view or download your latest membership invoices for reference.

Not the Organisation Admin? Just ask them to share a copy of the invoice with you.

I tried to pay but the link has expired - what should I do?

Stripe payment links expire 30 days after the invoice due date (so 60 days from issue). You can resend the link to the email address of your Organisation Admin or whoever received the original invoice. If you’re unsure or can’t access it, contact our Billing Team - the fastest way is via livechat in your account, or you can email billing@kato.app or call 0203 772 8898.

How can I update the invoice?

You can update your billing name, contact, address, PO number and more by getting in touch with our Billing Team. The quickest way is via livechat in your account, or you can email billing@kato.app or call 0203 772 8898.

If a user leaves the company or doesn’t use their Society licence, can we get a refund?

Refunds aren’t available. Ahead of the annual renewal (1st April), we’ll prompt your Organisation Administrator to review and update the membership list. They’re responsible for removing seats before invoices are issued. Once invoices are generated, they can’t be changed.

When is the Societies billing year start and end date?

From the 1st of April until the 31st of March of the following year.

Can I get a receipt for my payment?

Yes - after paying via the Pay Now link on your invoice, you’ll be able to download a receipt. If you ever need another copy, just return to the same link to download or ask the Organisation Admin to get a copy from their account.

Can I get the Society’s bank details?

Societies no longer accept BACS payments due to policy changes. This ensures faster processing, clearer payment tracking, accurate membership activation and fewer errors or delays from missing references.

Where should I send Society Membership Remittance Advice or proof of payment?

Please send Society Remittance Advice or proof of payment directly to the Committee Treasurer. To find their details, go to Members in your account → select your Society at the top → switch to the Committee tab → and locate the Treasurer’s contact information.

Please send Kato Pro Remittance Advice or proof of payment directly to our Billing Team. The fastest way is via livechat in your account, or you can email billing@kato.app or call 0203 772 8898.

What are the costs of the different memberships?

  • Office Agents Society (OAS) - £120+VAT

  • Industrial Agents Society (IAS Agents) - £100+VAT

  • Industrial Agents Society (IAS Clients) - £75+VAT

  • West End Agents Society (WEAS) - £150+VAT

  • City Agents Society (CAS) - £150+VAT

  • Retail & Leisure Agents Society (RLAS) - £100

If you join partway through the year (any time outside of April) you will be charged at a pro rata cost. The billing cycle for memberships operates from April 1st to March 31st annually. Membership fees are automatically renewed on April 1st unless specified otherwise. The pro-rata calculation ensures fairness by charging new members proportionally to the months remaining in the billing year.

I have received 2 invoices from you, one from Kato and one from Agents Society, what is the difference?

Kato invoices are usually for your Pro access or any bespoke work you’ve requested previously, while Agents Society invoices relate to your Marketplace subscription within Kato (OAS, IAS, RLAS, WEAS, CAS, and Society Events). Kato isn’t involved in decision-making for Agents Society; we simply host, manage, and invoice on behalf of the Society.

Is it possible to combine invoices for multiple Societies into a single invoice for payment?

We’re unable to combine the invoices into a single invoice for payment, as each one is issued by a different society, and each society operates as a separate entity with separate bank accounts.

Can the invoice be split into multiple invoices (e.g. one per person)?

No - Society policy is to issue a single invoice to your company per Society, showing the total number of seats. This ensures faster processing, clearer seat allocation, and fewer errors or delays.
