Our company isn’t on Kato - how do we set up an account and get access to Agents Society?
Just contact our Support Team, and we’ll create an account for your organisation. Email help@kato.app or call 0203 772 8898, providing the following details:
Company Name
Company Website
The societies you would like access to, and how many licences per society
Our company is on Kato - how does my company join a Society?
Your Organisation Admin can request to join a society in the organisation admin area. Once approved, your admin can purchase membership seats for your organisation from the same page. At the top of the page, you will see a menu bar that allows you to switch between societies, depending on which society you require access to.
Following the purchase of seats, applications will be reviewed by the Society Committee. If approved, you will be granted access. This process could take 24 hours. If you are unsure of who your organisation's admin is, please ask in the support channels.
How do I join a Society if my company already has members?
Simply contact your Organisation Admin. They can create your user profile, purchase your Society membership, and assign you a seat. If you are unsure of who your organisation's admin is, please ask in the support channels.
Once the membership is activated, it will require committee approval before it becomes active. Your Organisation Admin will handle this process, ensuring you are able to contribute effectively.
How can I renew my Society Membership?
Ahead of the new billing year (1st April), reach out to your Organisation Admin to confirm or renew your membership. This ensures invoices are issued correctly on 1st April with the right number of society seats.
Can I transfer my membership to someone else?
Yes - your Organisation Admin can transfer your society membership seat to another user. Since the seat is already paid for, it will remain valid for your organisation for the rest of the year. Additionally, seats can be reassigned multiple times throughout the year, ensuring optimal utilisation based on team changes or requirements.
How do I see who the invoice covers?
Invoices no longer list individual users, as Society memberships are now managed as seats at the organisation level rather than tied to specific people. This gives you the flexibility to assign or swap memberships between users whenever you need. Membership seats refer to a specific number of users assigned to a society membership, such as 5 seats allowing 5 active users. These seats are flexible and can be reassigned to adapt to organisational needs during the membership period.
How can I see who currently has Society memberships?
Your Organisation Admin can view this directly in the app and download a full society user list if needed. To check:
Go to the 3 dots next to their name (bottom left) → Organisation Settings → Society tab → select the Society at the top → Download if required.
For Pro go to the 3 dots next to their name (bottom left) → Organisation Settings → Users tab → Pro Users at the top → Download if required
Can you send an email to Society members on my behalf?
We can send around a new member update to the members of your society to let them know you have joined. Just let us know what you'd like the message to say and we will send you a draft to approve.
