Pro & Atlas Renewals

What happens when your Pro or Atlas licence comes up for renewal — the Customer Success manager conversation, timing, and what an access-warning banner means.

Written by Chris Hill

🎯 Goal

Understand what happens when your Pro or Atlas licence is due for renewal, and what to do if you see an access warning banner.

❓ Why

Pro and Atlas renewals are handled differently to Society renewals. Rather than an opt-in self-service flow, your dedicated Customer Success manager will reach out directly to discuss your renewal ahead of your renewal date.

🔍 Overview

  • Pro and Atlas renewals require a conversation with your Customer Success manager - they will reach out approximately 30 days prior to your renewal date.

  • If you receive a banner warning on your account, this means you are at risk of losing access unless that renewal conversation has taken place.

  • This is different from Society renewals, which are opt-in and self-service via Organisation Settings - see Society Membership Renewals and Regaining Access.

❓ Frequently asked

Q. I've received a banner warning about losing access - what do I do?
A. This means your Pro or Atlas renewal conversation with your Customer Success manager hasn't taken place yet. Ask to speak to a human on our support channels or call 0203 772 8898 so this can be arranged before you lose access.

Q. When will my Customer Success manager contact me about renewal?
A. Approximately 30 days before your Pro or Atlas renewal date.

Q. Is this the same process as Society renewals?
A. No. Society renewals are opt-in and completed by Organisation Admins in Organisation Settings. Pro and Atlas renewals are handled via a direct conversation with your Customer Success manager.
