Org Admins - Manage Marketing Defaults

Control the default marketing fields and floor unit columns your teams use in brochures, microsites, listings, and shortlist exports.

Written by Max Kemplen

Use Marketing settings to make sure the right content appears first when teams create marketing materials.

Who can use marketing settings?

Marketing settings are available to:

  • Organisation admins at agency-type organisations

  • Users with access to the Settings app

They are not available to:

  • Non-admin users

  • Landlord organisations

If a user without access opens the page directly, Kato redirects them to the home page.

When to use marketing settings?

Use Marketing when you want to:

  • Control which text fields appear first in brochures and listings

  • Set the default floor unit columns for brochures, microsites, and shortlist exports

  • Standardise marketing outputs across your organisation

How marketing settings work?

Marketing settings are split into two cards:

Card

What it controls

Default Marketing Text Fields

Text fields shown first in brochures and listings

Default Floor Unit Columns

Columns included by default in brochures, microsites, and shortlist exports

Each card saves independently.

Items marked with * are Kato system defaults. You can still remove them if they are not relevant to your organisation.

Open marketing settings

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Marketing.

Configure default marketing text fields

Use Default Marketing Text Fields to control which text fields appear first when teams create:

  • Brochures

  • Listings

  1. In the Default Marketing Text Fields card, select the fields you want to prioritise.

  2. Select Save changes.

You must keep at least one field selected.

Configure default floor unit columns

Use Default Floor Unit Columns to control which columns appear by default in:

  • Brochures

  • Microsites

  • Shortlist exports

  1. In the Default Floor Unit Columns card, select or clear columns.

  2. Select Save changes.

You must keep at least one column selected.

Saving changes

Each card saves independently.

The Save changes button stays disabled until you make a change.

The Save changes button then disables again until another change is made.

What your changes affect

Marketing settings affect default marketing content and outputs across your organisation.

Team-level settings can override organisation-level defaults where both exist.
